This investigation aims to demonstrate how the concept of heresy emerges in the work of Justin Martyr. First published in 1985 under the title La notion d'heresie dans la litterature grecque (IIe-IIIesiecles), it has been newly translated into English, with the addition of a new introduction surveying literature in the intervening decades.
