This is a book for people who believe in God. Whatever religion we belong to, or whatever branch of whatever religion, just believing in God is enough to differentiate us from those who don't. Not necessarily any better, but different. In a secular world, we who believe ought not to concentrate on the things we disagree about but on this one most important thing that we have in common. And in any case, God's saving love is contagious, which means it spreads out far beyond the barriers we erect in order to try to keep him to ourselves.
