The Chinese calligraply was at its acme from the 4th to the 10th centuries as can be judged from the "Ping Fu" model by Lu ji, "Bo Yuan" model by Wang Xun, "Zhong Qiu" model by Wang Xianzhi, Bu Shang" model by Wuyang Xun, and Shenxian Qiju" model by Yang Ningshi. All are shown in the album. Some are complete with annotations on them and with their masterfully mounted scrolls in facsimile colours.
