The Flora of Hong Kong, to be published in four volumes, covers the seed plants (Gymnosperms and Angiosperms) occur in Hong Kong. The Flora have been prepared based on historical as well as recent herbarium specimens from Hong Kong. Volume 1 treated 10 families in Gymnosperms and 75 families of Magnoliidae (Dicotyledons) in Angiosperms and Volume 2 treats the next 26 families. It will be followed by Volume 3 for the remaining Asteridae and Volume 4 which deals with Liliopsida (Monocotyledons),
