This volume contains five chapters discussing the cultivation, properties, and uses of jute fiber. Chapter One is an overview of the manufacturing processes of jute fiber-based composites. Chapter Two discusses methods of chemical modification of the properties of jute fiber for lifecycle enhancement in wastewater treatment. Chapter Three examines in a scope beyond traditional applications the progress, challenges, and prospects of jute fiber as a green adsorbent. Chapter Four provides a review of the processing of jute fiber from extraction to products.
