This special issue focused on strategies to promote positive behavioral and academic outcomes in early childhood. The special issue includes articles on consultation and training techniques to improve early childhood educators' use of evidence-based strategies for classroom management. Several articles evaluate and discuss various interventions aimed at improving reading skills of early elementary students. Additionally, the importance of interdisciplinary practices in early childhood education is discussed, and an interdisciplinary training program for behavioral and mental health services is described.
