This volume contains nine chapters that detail advances in psychology research. Chapter One discusses the use of template analysis (TA) in exploring the pos-traumatic growth among nurses following the COVID-19 pandemic. Chapter Two addresses mindfulness in parenting. Chapter Three describes Behaviorism and Cognitivism. Chapter Four aims to investigate university students' perceptions about problem solving when interacting with different interlocutors. Chapter Five identifies the similarities between different approaches to psychoanalysis and person-centered psychotherapy. Chapter Six aims to introduce helicopter parenting behaviors in the light of current literature. Chapter Seven addresses the following question: What is the readability of written scripts used in physical activity research? Chapter Eight reviews the available literature on the Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire's (PSDQ) convergence with other parenting measures, in an attempt to shed more light on its construct's validity. Lastly, Chapter Nine discusses the cognitive manifestations of substance abuse.
