I began my writing career as a nightside reporter for the Evening Bulletin, a newspaper in Philadelphia. I progressed to writing plays, having spent seventeen years dancing and performing. This transitioned into my own publication, Stage Magazine, about little theater in Pennsylvania. I wrote news articles about the war in Vietnam and about the struggles our service men and women suffered, especially friends. Then life took a turn, and I found myself wondering why so many friends were dying, which led me to Out of the Spotlight.Out of the Spotlight is about being in the right place at the right time and doing the right thing for your life to progress in a positive fashion. It speaks about personal responsibility and accepting the reality of life and all that it has to offer. Understanding and accepting your shortcomings helps you understand what it takes to be personally successful. Out of the Spotlight speaks about the choices we make and the outcome of those choices.
