This Christmas, Oowa makes an unforgettable journey to his heart ? and probably to yours. Oowa looked forward to growing up. He was curious about the world and how it was changing. However, as he realised that the world wasn?t changing as he expected, he became more and more estranged from himself. Loneliness began to close in around him. He did not know where it came from, but knew there was something wrong in his heart. He tried to restore his heart to what it had been before, but it soon became tarnished again. Then, one strange and dazzling night, he arrived at a place where countless beautiful hearts blossomed. Nothing could have made him happier. But once he learned the story of these hearts, he also understood the reason for his loneliness ? and faced the reality of all the things he had left behind.
About the illustrator Jeanie Leung loves art. She wants to touch people?s heart deeply with her drawings and paintings. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Leung?s childhood dream was to become an artist or an astronaut. In spite of this, she later dropped art in secondary school and opted to study business in college. After graduating from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, she went on to work in the banking industry. In 2009, Leung quit her stable job and belatedly pursued her childhood dream of becoming an artist, though she has never received formal art training. As of now, Leung continues to work hard on her art and learning new things every day.
